When we give ourselves the opportunity to connect with and trust our body in movement, we create space for a sweet yet wild grace to emerge.
We invite you to join us for a weekend of easeful, creative and joyful Yoga, nature meditations and 5Rhythms Dance:
- Flowing: connect to ourselves and the earth
- Staccato: igniting our passion
- Chaos: the dance of release
- Lyrical: soulful freedom
- Stillness: moving as Grace
“There is a lightness of being, a soulful way of inhabiting the body, which offers space for our connection with spirit.”
Our bodies are designed to move and they love to move! Dynamic movement practices such as yoga and 5Rhythms dance involving non-habitual movement, are now known to be especially beneficial for our holistic health.
When we move our body we not only feel physically enlivened, but our moods can lighten and shift, our mind can feel more spacious and we can connect with a sense of our soulful being. The simple act of engaging in conscious movement practices has a profound effect on every aspect of our life and living.
This is the power and wisdom of the moving body.

What do others say about your retreat?
5 Rhythms event was well organised, calm and flowing – I danced my legs off, encouraged gently by Sacha and this was balanced with lovely soft circular yoga from Neal – it was a full weekend but wonderful. Thank you both. – Robyn Skerten
Sacha and Neal are wonderful, and the retreat was presented with care and love. I appreciated the emphasis on self-care too. – Tanya
Neal and Sacha work seamlessly together – their gentle approach and vast knowledge make for an amazing team. – Lisa O’Neill
Neal and Sacha – what a combination you are! You are both so caring, approachable and supportive. The theme of ‘Fire in the Belly’ was a great one and presented to us on so many levels. I felt gently and gradually nurtured to explore the work over the course of the weekend, ‘getting it’ in my body, mind and soul. Deeply moving -Lisa Fabry
The Teaching Team
My intention is to bring awareness of the sacred into my everyday life, connecting to spirit through dance, yoga and massage in my own practices and in the work I do with others.
My path has been one of listening to the profound teachings of nature and of reclaiming my intuition and body connection.
When I discovered the 5Rhythms Dance of Gabrielle Roth in 2000, I instantly fell in love with the freedom I felt as well as the potential of this practice to guide me through my life.
Neal has been practicing yoga for twenty years and teaching since 2003. He sees yoga as a guide to restoring our place and understanding of who we are and how we can live peacefully, happily and completely fulfilled.
Neal’s teaching focuses on exploring and refining natural movement and alignment principles – learning to embody these principles in a way that takes our spiritual practice into our everyday lives.
“My aim in teaching is to create a safe and inviting space in which to learn and discover Yoga as a balance between effort and effortlessness, structural alignment and organic fluidity, mindfulness and spontaneity.
“Ultimately, the practice of yoga leads us to a place where we may respond to life’s challenges with ease in our breath and body, with wise choices, and with kindness and an open heart.”
He has taught on teacher training programs in Australia and New Zealand, has been senior faculty on Donna Farhi’s Advanced Teacher Training Program, and is a founder member of the Contemporary Yoga Teacher Training program, based out of Auckland.
Neal is also an experienced Holistic and Thai massage therapist, an accomplished musician and kirtan chant leader, and absolutely loves to dance!
