He arranged and composed the bulk of their repertoire and still writes music regularly for them. He founded a cappella choir the Honeybees and has directed and sung with the reclusive male a cappella group the Heavenly Light Quartet since 1996. DESCRIPTION:Working with Legacy material (IFS between the Generations)\nLearn how to identify\, explore and heal legacy burdens while honouring and celebrating legacy gifts. Legacy burdens often present as parts that have entrenched beliefs and patterns of behaviour that are perpetuated across generations and can be corrosive\, counter-productive and no longer compatible to the here and now. By working with clients’ legacy burdens we can move stuckness\, shift deeply held pain\, create more connection to authenticity while remaining connected to and respectful of a multiplicity of generations. \nThis workshop offers opportunities for you to do your work and to give you the skills and abilities to work with your clients legacy material. There will be lectures\, demonstrations\, small group and somatic/ embodied experientials offered. All in the beauty\, simplicity and tranquility of the Mana Retreat centre. \nThis workshops specific focus is on familial legacies as held by parts\, the body and within the system. Learn how to work with legacy material in a variety of experiential ways through somatic exploration\, creative externalisation and IFS as it applies to many systems. \nYou will learn to work with protectors that hold legacy material and exiles that are often holding pain that is not entirely all theirs. As we tune into legacy material we see that it is often deeply woven throughout our systems and often subtle yet powerful in its influence- when we bring this material to awareness and meet it with curiosity and openness applying the IFS model\, profound change can happen. \n\nYour Teacher\n\nEmma Diamond MA is an Individual\, Child and Family Therapist in private practice with a Masters in Family Therapy. As the inaugural IFS Institute Trainer in the Australian and New Zealand region\, Emma has eighteen years of experience working extensively with children\, families\, couples and individuals mostly in the context of complex trauma. She deeply values being part of the growing IFS community of Australia\, New Zealand and Asia. \nEmma has enjoyed deepening her IFS practice over the last five years via trainings\, workshops\, deepening courses and most importantly her clients\, supervision and personal therapy. DESCRIPTION:We warmly invite you to our weekend course The Perceptual Journey; Soma to Wholeness with the blessing and guidance of Robyn and Manuela we are offering this course at Mana. This course has been developed to continue to support your development of the perceptual journey. \nOver the weekend we will explore topics of: Polyvagal theory\, and its role in inflammation and allostasis. Trauma and its impact on soma and the journey to Wholeness\, including the modified or adapted form\, autoimmune conditions and PTSD.
