DESCRIPTION:Join a fabulous Open Floor Dance community\, sharing the joy of embodied movement most Tuesdays at Mana.  \nWhen: \nMost Tuesday Mornings at Mana. \nTime: 10:00–11:45AM / COST: $25-$20 Sliding Scale \nFeel free to arrive from 9:45am. T he music will be on if you’d like a longer warmup\, or if you’re new come early so we can welcome you. \nWhat is Open Floor Conscious Dance? \nOpen Floor is a lively dance and movement practice that energises the body and opens the mind. \nThere are no moves to learn. We simply show up and move with whatever is present: our creative minds\, our tender hearts\, our joys and excitements\, our aches and pains. And in the process we discover our own unique dance. \nClasses include guided inquiry as well as time to follow your own dance. The teachers select diverse music to inspire creative expression\, wild abandon and quiet awareness. Sometimes we experience insights and healing\, and sometimes we simply have a great dance. \nThe open dance floor becomes a playground for exploring the relational nature of being human: our ever-changing needs for solitude\, connection and a sense of community. DESCRIPTION:Our Solstice Working Bees are such a great part of our schedule. It is a lovely opportunity to come together as a community and share in our combined energy and skills to work on the land\, in the gardens and around the buildings. Most of the work is outdoors and there is always a need for a team in the kitchen. After all our hard work together we also have a wonderful celebration of the Solstice together.\nYour Working Bee includes.. \nThe weekend is a wonderful exchange of your love and energy for two nights shared accommodation\, three delicious vegetarian meals each day\, meet new friends\, be a part of a community and work on lots of fun projects. \n\nWeekend schedule:\nFriday\n4pm-6pm Arrive\, settle-in\, assign work\n6pm-7pm Dinner and connecting (6pm Blessing)\n7pm Welcome circle\nSaturday\n7am-7.30am Light stretch in Octagon\n7.30am-8.30am Breakfast\, clean-up\, be dressed and ready for work\n8.55am-9.30am Circle – listening to Bells (Octagon)\n9.30am-11.30am WORK\n11.30am-12pm Morning tea picnics (out on site)\n12pm-1.30pm WORK\n1.30pm-2.30pm Lunch\n2.30pm-4pm WORK\n5pm-6pm Dinner\n6pm Seasonal ritual – this may be outside (wrap up warm)\n9pm Quiet and rest\nSunday\n7am-7.30am Light stretch in Octagon\n7.30am-8.30am Breakfast\, clean-up\, be dressed\, pack up rooms and be ready for work\n8.55am-9.30am Circle for all – listening to Bells (Octagon)\n9.30am-12 noon WORK and clean-up\n12 noon Closing Gratitude Circle and finger food dining room
