Make your own detox tea
Our amazing organs are performing life-sustaining tasks all the time, without us even knowing it! To give our bodies an extra bit of help to aid in the crucial detoxification process, try this almighty detox tea recipe for an easy pick me up.

The ingredients used inside this tea can help with boosting metabolism, supporting the immune system, digestion and circulation, contains anti-inflammatory properties, stabilising blood sugar levels, aiding in liver detoxification, and provides antioxidants and electrolytes.

Recommended to drink before meals. 


  • ½ tsp ginger powder or a small knob of fresh ginger (grated)

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

  • 1-2 tsp apple cider vinegar 

  • Lemon juice to taste

  • 2 cups boiling water (filtered if possible)

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp organic turmeric powder or freshly grated turmeric



  1. Inside a teapot, place cinnamon, turmeric, ginger and cayenne pepper
  2. Pour the boiling water over the top, and allow it to steep for at least five minutes
  3. Pour the mixture through a strainer
  4. Stir through AVC, a good squeeze of lemon juice
  5. Enjoy the wonderful benefits of this detox tea!
