SANCTUARY: MOVEMENT & MEDITATION: An Open Floor Dance & Meditation weekend
May 16, 2025 @ 4:00 pm - May 18, 2025 @ 2:00 pm
MOVEMENT & MEDITATION
A weekend of Open Floor Dance & Meditation w/Geordie Jahner Ph.D. assisted by Lauren Henry
May 16-18, 2025
In this weekend retreat, we will explore a fluid dynamic interplay of movement and meditation. Opening ourselves to the dance of movement, stillness, and the spaces in between.
We will explore multi-faceted movement explorations where we dance wildly and tenderly, deepen through breathwork and breath-aligned asana, and settle with systematic relaxation and meditation.
This fusion of movement and meditation can be a powerful tool for individuals seeking to connect with their body, enhance focus, and cultivate a sense of inner peace.
We use the movement practices of Open Floor, Vishoka Meditation and breath awareness to help us:
- move freely
- unite mind, body and breath
- cultivate pranic sensitivity
- turn inward
- and come to rest in the source of joy and tranquility
