This guided meditation by Amrit is designed to support deep rest and relaxation.
Nidra Vidya, also known as the “knowledge of sleep,” is a form of Yoga Nidra, which is a powerful guided relaxation method. This technique aims to channel energy and alleviate the tensions stored in our physical, mental, and emotional selves. By entering a state of expansive awareness, our body returns to its natural equilibrium, our breathing becomes harmonized, and our inner world unfolds. It provides a simple means to relax into our essence effortlessly.
Nidra Vidya is typically done while lying down. To make it more comfortable and allow you to stay still during the session, you can use cushions, bolsters, and blankets for support. This practice can be done at any time of the day.
