This retreat is an opportunity to energise your connection with nature, and to return to your own centre – to remember the heart of who you are.
What to expect:
Each day of the retreat will include an early morning dynamic slow yoga flow and meditation, based around the day’s teaching theme. You will enjoy a delicious organic breakfast and then free time to explore the grounds of the retreat centre, or book a massage, take a sauna or simply rest. We re-gather mid morning for a yin/restorative practice, that is supported by breath and chakra work. Journaling activities may be included in some sessions to enhance reflective practice. After a nutritious lunch, harvested from the gardens on site, you have more free time to connect with others, read in a nook in the library, or cosy up on your bed.
The afternoon session will be an iRest Yoga Nidra practice – walking through the development of intention, defining heart’s path, experiencing emotion and beliefs and their opposites as embodied sensation. As we move through the week, we explore joy and equanimity, arising from pure awareness and ground of wholeness. Yoga Nidra facilitates profound rest and can be deeply healing.
We share a nourishing and sattvic dinner before the evening program, which will include practices to support the theme of the day – relaxation, chanting, meditation, or dharma talks. There will be opportunity to complete some days in silence if you choose.
We have access to the labyrinth and to Tara Sanctuary, sacred spaces to contemplate and marvel.
