AmAzing things to experience
Set on 360 acres nestled in the bush-covered rangers of the Coromandel with expansive sea views, Mana Retreat Centre is a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Here you can rest into the natural surroundings and discover re-creation in a way that supports your well-being.
Climb our mountain summit or settle into the gentle sway of a hammock. Treat yourself to a massage or sauna – or wander to the Sanctuary where you can walk the labyrinth to the centre of your Self.

Mana Dining
Our beautiful, open plan kitchen is the warm, nourishing centre of Mana and the food served to guests is an vital aspect of the Mana experience. Our food philosophy is centred around lacto-ovo vegetarianism and we aim to source as many ingredients as we can locally and seasonally. Beyond tasting amazing, it is our intention for every meal to be a source of deeply nourishing.
It gives us pleasure to share some of our most requested recipes and the philosophy behind our menus. In the process we can respond to the questions most often asked about the food served at Mana. Click the links below to learn more…
Mana SLEEPING
A good night’s rest is essential for well-being. To support your comfort our beds are made up with fresh linen, soft pillows and towels. Some people find ear plugs helpful in shared rooms. On a crisp cool night you will find additional woolen blankets, a small heater and hot water bottles to add warmth. For those venturing to the sauna or bush bath extra towels are available.
Our modest and comfortable lodges include shared rooms with single beds. Most rooms are twin share and are allocated same gender. We have a limited number of rooms with double beds for couples and a few single beds available in the main centre building. The photo shows one of our largest rooms with four beds.
"Mana provides such a nurturing environment for rejuvenation; the land, the people, the food, fires and programmes will fill your heart and soul."
