About Karla
Intuitive, honest, attentive, creative, joyful and full of expression – there’s something about Karla that speaks directly to your insides, and suddenly you realise you have a newfound conversation with your inner world. Karla is an experienced Yoga and movement teacher and teacher trainer who has taught throughout Auckland for over 20 years, specialising in Restorative Yoga. She is inspired to share the practice of Yoga to enhance awareness of breath, movement and conscious rest in everyday life.
About Neal
Neal has been practicing Yoga for over twenty years and teaching since 2003. He sees Yoga as a guide to restoring our place and understanding of who we are and how we can live peacefully, happily and fulfilled. Neal’s teaching focuses on exploring and refining natural movement and alignment principles – learning to embody these principles in a way that takes our spiritual practice into our everyday lives.
“My aim in teaching is to create a safe and inviting space in which to learn and discover Yoga as a balance between effort and effortlessness, structural alignment and organic fluidity, mindfulness and spontaneity. Cancellation Policy for the TUITION FEE for The Heart of Rest
If you wish to cancel your retreat booking more than 21 days from the start of the retreat, you will receive a full refund of the tuition fee. If the cancellation is 21 days or less, there will only be a refund if we can fill your place from a waitlist (refunds will be offered in exceptional circumstances).

Guidelines
Payment is required in full at the time of booking, by credit or debit card, or direct bank transfer using our secure POLi payment gateway.
We draw special attention to two of our guidelines before registration: Mana provides lacto-ovo vegetarian food only, this means no fish or chicken and is an alcohol and drug free environment.
Mana caters for Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan.
Cancellation Policy
This group requires a minimum number of participants to go ahead, if that number is not reached we reserve the right to cancel the event.
Should you, for any reason, decide to cancel your registration; please note our cancellation policy :
- A $50 administrative fee is applied to all cancellations.
- A Tuition cancellation fee may apply in certain circumstances.
- These policies are reassessed in certain circumstances.
